Global music star Shakira and Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy have released “Dai Dai,” the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The track, announced by FIFA, is now available across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music.
According to FIFA, the song will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aimed at raising $100 million to improve access to education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
Shakira will reportedly donate her royalties from the song to the fund, while Sony Music will match the first $250,000 raised.
The motivational anthem celebrates unity, resilience and football culture, with references to legendary footballers including Pelé, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé.
The release marks Shakira’s return to World Cup music after her global hits Waka Waka and La La La.
Burna Boy becomes the second Nigerian artist to feature on a FIFA World Cup soundtrack after Davido appeared on the 2022 Qatar World Cup song Hayya Hayya.
FIFA also confirmed that Rema will headline the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Los Angeles.
