The Police Service Commission (PSC) will start screening constable applicants on March 9, 2026. The exercise runs until April 18, 2026, in centres across all 36 states and the FCT.
Registered candidates must check their status on the portal and print necessary documents. These include the Invitation Slip, Credential and Physical Screening Forms, Guarantors Form, and Application Submission Slip.
Applicants must bring the Invitation Slip, National Identity card or printout, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or age declaration, and certificate of origin. Specialists must also present trade test certificates.
The Guarantors Form must be signed with referees’ passport photos and photocopies attached. All documents should be neatly packed in two separate white flat files.
Candidates should wear white canvas shoes, T-shirts, shorts, and stockings, as shown in the invitation. PSC Chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu (retd.) emphasized the recruitment is free and transparent.
Applicants are warned against impostors, scammers, and online fraud. Violators will face prosecution. The portal opened on December 15, 2025, and closed February 8, 2026, after extension. Lagos and other states saw low turnout, while Adamawa, Benue, and Kaduna recorded high applications.
