Award-winning Nigerian rapper Reminisce has confirmed that his highly anticipated 8th studio album will drop in September 2025. The announcement, made via his social media on July 30, has already stirred excitement among fans and music lovers.
The upcoming project follows the success of his 2024 EP Sui Generis, which featured heavyweights like Vector, BadBoy Timz, and Bhadboi OML. Known for his distinctive fusion of hip-hop, Fuji, and Afrobeats, Reminisce continues to redefine the sound of contemporary Nigerian music.
To date, Reminisce has released five albums and two EPs. His debut, Book of Rap Stories, and the breakout Alaga Ibile(which sold over 13 million units in Alaba Market) laid the foundation for a dynamic career. His third album, Baba Hafusa, marked a shift toward streaming platforms and made history by debuting at No. 12 on the Billboard World Albums chart, the first African rap album to do so.
He repeated that feat with El Hadj, which debuted at No. 13, making him the first African rapper with two Billboard World Albums entries.
While the title of the new album remains under wraps, fans can expect yet another bold chapter from Reminisce, an artist celebrated for his consistency, reinvention, and cultural impact.
