Olam Agri has earned the Top Employer 2026 certification in Nigeria for the sixth consecutive year. The recognition came from the globally respected Top Employers Institute following an independent evaluation process. According to the company, the award reflects its long-term commitment to people-focused workplace practices.
Notably, Olam Agri continues to prioritise employee engagement, performance growth, and data-driven human resource strategies. Furthermore, the institute also named Olam Agri a Top Employer across Africa for the sixth straight year. The continental recognition covers certifications in Nigeria and eight other countries worldwide.
These countries include Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, Australia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. The Top Employers Institute operates across 131 countries and regions globally. It evaluates organisations using a comprehensive HR Best Practices Survey.
This survey assesses six key domains, including people strategy, learning, wellbeing, and diversity inclusion. Speaking on the achievement, Olam Agri’s regional HR head highlighted workforce satisfaction as a core priority. He noted that intentional programmes help maintain motivation, collaboration, and continuous learning across teams.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Country Head emphasised employee fulfilment alongside food security goals. He added that strong leadership support drives positive employee sentiment and high retention rates. Moreover, the certification encourages Olam Agri to strengthen its evolving workplace strategies.
