A tennis federation official has called for increased investment in sports facilities across Nigeria to support talent development.
He said many states and local councils lack adequate courts, limiting access for young players.
The federation is also seeking sponsorships to reduce the financial burden on families and support promising athletes.
Nigeria is expected to participate in several international and domestic tournaments in 2026, including Davis Cup qualifiers and local championships like the CBN Open.
