New Horizons Nigeria has officially launched a state-of-the-art technology hub in Akute, Ogun State. This centre aims to expand access to digital skills training for residents in fast-growing suburban communities near Lagos.
The new hub will serve learners and professionals across Akute, Alagbado, Ajuwon, Matogun, Lambe, Ojodu-Berger, Isheri, Giwa, Iju-Ishaga, Ishasi, and Oke-Aro. It significantly reduces the need for long-distance travel to access internationally recognised ICT training.
New Horizons Nigeria, one of Africa’s largest ICT training organisations, continues to deliver structured, global-standard programs to universities, secondary schools, and corporate organisations nationwide. The expansion aligns with its mission to bridge digital skills gaps across Nigeria.
Students at the Akute hub can access courses in cybersecurity, web development, artificial intelligence, full-stack software development, and graphic design. The centre also offers globally recognised CompTIA certifications in hardware, networking, and security.
