Mikano Motors has teamed up with Autochek Africa to widen access to car financing in Nigeria. The partnership aims to make new vehicle ownership easier and more atffordable.
The collaboration formally launched at a press event in Lagos this weekend. It focused on closing financing gaps that have limited access to brand‑new cars.
According to Autochek Africa’s CEO, Etop Ikpe, demand for automobiles is strong across Nigeria. However, many buyers lack access to structured credit that suits their financial needs.
Through the partnership, customers can now explore Mikano’s full vehicle lineup online. Popular brands include Changan, Maxus, and Deepal, all accessible through a dedicated digital showroom.
The virtual showroom lets buyers compare models side‑by‑side and submit loan applications without visiting a physical dealership. Autochek’s embedded financing technology connects buyers to multiple banking partners, delivering faster credit decisions and flexible payment options.
Mikano Motors’ Group Executive Director, Joelle Haykal, says the goal has always been more than sales. The company continues to offer long warranties and nationwide after‑sales support. She added that vehicles from Mikano are built for Nigerian roads, offering performance and durability.
By blending premium mobility with flexible financing, more Nigerians can now plan and complete vehicle purchases with confidence. As digital tools reshape the auto market, this partnership represents a major shift toward smarter, customer‑focused vehicle ownership in Nigeria.
