Guinea Insurance Plc has reinforced regulatory collaboration through a strategic courtesy visit to NAICOM. The visit aimed to strengthen engagement with regulators and support industry-wide operational stability. NAICOM’s Commissioner for Insurance, Olusegun Omosehin, received the delegation in Abuja.
The Guinea Insurance delegation was led by Board Chairman, Temitope Borishade.
Several non-executive directors accompanied him, reflecting strong board-level commitment to governance. Members present included Bernice Okosun, Ijeoma Okoro, Nkemakonam Okeke, and Samuel Onukwue.
Executive Management members also attended to demonstrate unified leadership and strategic alignment. They included Managing Director Ademola Abidogun and Executive Director Pius Edobor. Others present were Executive Director Ogonna Offor-Orabueze and Company Secretary Chinenye Nnankwo.
During discussions, both parties examined key regulatory developments shaping Nigeria’s insurance landscape. They also reviewed emerging industry trends and evolving customer expectations. Guinea Insurance highlighted initiatives focused on operational efficiency and enhanced customer experience.
Furthermore, the company outlined plans to strengthen its capital base strategically.
This move aligns with requirements under the Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Act.
