The move follows growing concerns over the possible spread of the deadly viral disease in parts of Africa, prompting the government to strengthen preventive measures nationwide.
According to health officials, emergency response teams have already increased monitoring at airports, border communities, hospitals, and major transit points. In addition, medical personnel are receiving updated training on early detection, isolation procedures, and rapid response strategies to contain any suspected outbreak.
Meanwhile, residents have been urged to remain calm while observing proper hygiene practices. Experts emphasized that early reporting of symptoms such as fever, weakness, vomiting, and unexplained bleeding could significantly reduce the risk of transmission.
