CRC Credit Bureau has launched an upgraded mobile application to improve financial services access across Nigeria. The enhanced platform allows users to manage credit information and perform everyday transactions easily.
According to the organisation, the new application reflects its commitment to advancing digital credit management. It also aims to strengthen financial inclusion for individuals and businesses nationwide.
The upgraded app introduces biometric login features such as fingerprint authentication and Face ID. These tools improve security while ensuring faster and more convenient account access.
In addition, the platform now includes an integrated wallet system for seamless in-app transactions. Users can fund their wallets and make payments without switching between multiple platforms.
Furthermore, the application allows users to hide or display wallet balances for better privacy. This feature helps protect financial information when using the app in public spaces.
The upgraded platform also enables users to pay electricity bills directly through the application. In addition, customers can purchase airtime, mobile data, and cable television subscriptions.
Supported cable services include DSTV, GOtv, StarTimes, and Showmax. As a result, the app now functions as a multifunctional financial service platform.
Beyond transactions, CRC also incorporated financial education opportunities within the application. Users can now register for CRC training courses directly through the platform.
Speaking during the launch, CRC Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Tunde Popoola, explained the goal behind the upgrade.
He said the application forms part of the organisation’s broader digital transformation strategy. According to him, the new platform empowers customers while maintaining strong security standards.
Popoola further stated that CRC will continue investing in technology that strengthens trust. Ultimately, the initiative aims to deepen transparency within Nigeria’s financial services ecosystem.
