France Football has unveiled the 30 nominees for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, with Paris Saint-Germain dominating the shortlist for the prestigious individual award.
The nominees were announced on Tuesday, with the winners set to be revealed at a ceremony in London on October 26, 2026.
PSG lead the club rankings with 10 nominees, followed by Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona with four each. Arsenal have three players on the list, while Manchester City have two.
Among the biggest names nominated are Real Madrid forwards Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr., Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Lionel Messi has also been included on the shortlist following another season with Inter Miami. Arsenal are represented by Declan Rice, Gabriel and William Saliba.
Other notable nominees include Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Lautaro Martínez, Luis Díaz, Ousmane Dembélé, Michael Olise, Rodri, Sadio Mané and Vitinha.
PSG’s strong representation reflects the club’s recent success, with the Champions League winners accounting for one-third of the 30-man shortlist.
The nominees also include players who represented more than one club during the assessment period. Ferran Torres, Marc Cucurella and Rodri are listed alongside both clubs they played for during the period under review.
The eventual winner will be announced at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in London on October 26.
