Wizkid and Asake have released a surprise collaborative single titled Jogodo, the lead track from their upcoming joint EP, REAL, Vol. 1, set for release on January 23, 2026. The project was first confirmed in late 2025 during an Apple Music Radio takeover and will feature four joint tracks.
Built on mid-tempo percussion, brass elements, and a minimalist arrangement, Jogodo leans into cohesion rather than contrast, with both artists trading measured verses in Nigerian Pidgin. The song centres on indulgence and intoxication, aligning with its title.
The release adds to the duo’s successful collaborative run, following tracks like MMS, Bad Girl, and Getting Paid. Both artists described the partnership as natural, driven by shared musical language, friendship, and cultural influence.
