This phrase served as an encouragement to me, and I’m sure to many other young Nigerians. But as I grew older, I began to wonder: what does it really mean to be the leader of tomorrow? The phrase “youth are the leaders of tomorrow” is a common saying in Nigeria, often used to motivate young people to work hard and strive for greatness.
It’s a phrase that acknowledges the potential of young people to shape the future of their communities, countries, and the world at large.
