The Asiwaju Re-election Frontiers (ARF), a political support group backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, has inaugurated its national and zonal coordinators ahead of the 2027 general election.
The group’s National Coordinator and South-West Coordinator, Ambassador Olasimbo Akinyele, announced the development at a news conference in Abuja on Monday.
Akinyele said the inauguration was aimed at strengthening the organisation’s nationwide structure through grassroots mobilisation, stakeholder engagement and peaceful political participation.
He said ARF supported Tinubu’s re-election to enable his administration to continue implementing its policies and reform agenda. However, he acknowledged concerns among Nigerians, including the rising cost of living, unemployment, insecurity and the need for better public services.
The newly inaugurated zonal coordinators are Malcolm Adakole for the North-Central, Kachalla Mohammed for the North-East, Abubakar Muhammed for the North-West, Juliet Benson for the South-East, Abel Asuquo for the South-South, and Akinyele for the South-West.
Akinyele pledged that ARF would operate within the Constitution and electoral laws, reject political violence and promote constructive dialogue as it mobilises support for Tinubu.
