Mr. Chukwudi Enekwechi, Chairman of the group, praised the Tinubu administration for reviving the Benin-Ajaokuta Road dualisation project, bringing much-needed relief to motorists traveling between Edo and Kogi States.
During the project’s inauguration, Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure nationwide. The group emphasized that this initiative reflects the administration’s dedication to enhancing transportation and economic growth.
“With this duality, motorists traveling to the western, eastern, and northern regions will experience significant ease, while economic activities along the corridor will thrive,” the group stated.
The group also highlighted that previous administrations had abandoned the project despite allocating funds. They commended the Works Minister for actualizing President Tinubu’s vision of modern, durable roads.
“For years, this road was a source of frustration, but the Tinubu administration is changing that by prioritizing quality infrastructure,” they added.
TMV further encouraged Nigerians to support the government’s ongoing efforts to rebuild the country’s road network.
