Nigeria’s Super Falcons have climbed to 36th in the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking, maintaining their position as Africa’s top team.
The improvement follows two friendlies against Cameroon a 1–0 loss and a 3–1 win. Goals from Chinwendu Ihezuo, Rinsola Babajide, and Michelle Alozie secured the victory.
Nigeria now has 1602 points, while South Africa, Ghana, and Morocco trail behind on the continent. Spain remains world number one, followed by the USA and England.
