Stakeholders have called on Nigerian youths to embrace leadership, innovation, and digital skills as tools for driving transformational change and creating positive social impact in their communities.
The call was made at the “Unleash Your Leadership Potential Conference” organised by IV LEAD in Abuja. The organisation focuses on developing transformational leaders through digital solutions and social innovation.
Founder and Executive Director of IV LEAD, Mayowa Odetayo, said the conference was designed to help young people discover their hidden potential and develop the skills needed to solve societal challenges. According to him, youths should see themselves as solutions to Nigeria’s problems rather than obstacles.
He encouraged participants to embrace innovation, creativity, and problem-solving, describing young Nigerians as the nation’s untapped resource for growth and development. Odetayo also urged youths to invest in self-development, mentorship, and strategic collaborations to maximise their potential.
Other speakers at the event stressed the importance of adaptability, leadership, and innovation in a rapidly evolving world, urging participants to transform ideas into practical and marketable solutions that create value.
