Residents of Yaba Community in Odode Idanre, Ondo State, have appealed to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to revive several abandoned projects in the area.
In a petition, the community said key projects including major roads and a World Bank-backed market were halted due to contractor disputes, leaving roads impassable and economic activities disrupted.
They urged the governor to inspect the sites, resolve the conflicts, and ensure contractors return to complete the projects.
Responding, the governor’s aide, Allen Sowore, assured residents that the matter would be addressed, reiterating the government’s commitment to completing all ongoing projects.
