The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Wednesday, September 24, 2025, for the commencement of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II orientation course nationwide. Registration will run until Friday, September 26, followed by the swearing-in ceremony on the same day. The three-week exercise will end on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
The scheme noted that the Kwara State camp will open later, from September 30 to October 20, 2025.
Director-General, Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu, urged prospective corps members (PCMs) to report only to camps indicated in their call-up letters and warned against fake documents, stressing that offenders would be prosecuted.
He listed key requirements, including call-up letters, school IDs, certificates or statements of results, and medical fitness reports. Foreign-trained graduates must present passports and original uploaded documents, while polytechnic and monotechnic graduates must show National Diplomas.
On safety, the NYSC cautioned PCMs against night travel, advising them to rest in barracks, NYSC lodges, or secretariats after 6:00pm, and only use approved motor parks.
Nafiu added that married, pregnant, and nursing mothers posted outside their husbands’ states may undergo orientation in their states of residence with valid proof. He wished all PCMs safe journeys and a successful service year.
