MEA Energy Limited has officially entered Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector with its first filling station in Bwari, Abuja. The company plans to expand to 250 retail stations nationwide, targeting strategic urban and commercial corridors.
The CEO, Chinenye Atanda, described the project as a demonstration of MEA Energy’s long-term commitment to Nigeria’s energy industry. She said the rollout will support mobility, commerce, and job creation across host communities. The station marks the company’s entry into direct retail fuel service delivery.

Head of Retail, Francis Eleazu, highlighted MEA Energy’s mission to provide competitively priced petroleum products efficiently across Nigeria and Africa. He said the station addresses service gaps, offering smart fuel solutions and integrated convenience retail options for underserved communities.
Eleazu assured customers of accurate fuel measurement, stating, “Anywhere you see MEA Filling Station, our one litre is one litre.” He also detailed innovation plans including self-service pumps, loyalty programs, and fuel wallet solutions for improved speed and convenience.
