The Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria has welcomed Governor Uba Sani’s approval of 50 Christians for pilgrimage after an 11-year suspension.
Chairman Rev. Ma’aji Bawa described the move as symbolic and confidence-building, urging transparency in the selection process. He emphasised that pilgrimage is a sacred spiritual obligation, not a recreational trip.
Bawa expressed hope that the number of beneficiaries would gradually increase and called on Christians to remain prayerful and supportive of government efforts to promote unity and development in Kaduna State.
