Johnvents Group has renewed its drive to expand partnerships, scale capacity, and build industries that can accelerate Nigeria’s economic growth while strengthening Africa’s global position. The commitment followed the Ondo State Government’s renewed ambition to establish the state as a competitive hub for agribusiness, manufacturing, technology, and energy.
The pledge took center stage during Johnvents Group’s 2025 End-of-Year Celebration at The Dome in Akure. The event brought together industry leaders, international partners, traditional rulers, and senior government officials who reflected on what the company described as a pivotal year.
In his welcome remarks, Group Executive Director, Tarun Chawla, highlighted the company’s expanded reach and stronger operations. He explained that the organisation’s progress was supported by a stable business environment fostered by the Ondo State Government. Also acknowledged partners like British International Investment, the International Finance Corporation, and AFRIEXIM Bank for backing the Group’s long-term goals. Added that Johnvents now plays a broader role in global value chains across Africa, the UAE, Asia, and Europe.
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, praised Johnvents as a model of homegrown excellence that maintains strong community ties. He stressed that the company’s achievements reflect the impact of targeted investment and robust institutional support. According to him, ongoing reforms in ease of doing business, digitisation, security, and infrastructure are helping attract private-sector growth.
The celebration also recognised the company’s dedication to community development through education, youth programmes, and agribusiness support. Johnvents reaffirmed its commitment to building industries and partnerships that strengthen Nigeria’s agricultural and manufacturing value chains.
The Group currently operates seven businesses spanning production, processing, manufacturing, and trade across key markets.
