The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched the iDICE Startup Bridge to support local entrepreneurs.
This nationwide programme targets aspiring founders and early-stage tech start-ups across the country.
It aims to back over 500 start-ups through grants, structured training, and equity investment.
iDICE operates under the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises Programme framework.
The initiative is implemented by the Bank of Industry with international funding partners.
Funding comes from the African Development Bank, Agence Française de Développement, and Islamic Development Bank.
The programme seeks to strengthen Nigeria’s start-up ecosystem and create new job opportunities.
It also expands access to capital for innovative digital and creative businesses nationwide.
iDICE Startup Bridge offers two pathways for entrepreneurs at different growth stages.
Founders Lab, currently open, supports idea-stage and early prototype founders with a 12-week programme.
Selected participants receive mentorship, training, and grants of up to N10 million for excellence.
Growth Lab, launching later, targets post-minimum viable product start-ups showing market traction.
It will provide $100,000 equity investment and support scaling operations and securing additional funding.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima, iDICE Steering Committee Chairman, highlighted its potential for job creation.
He noted the programme empowers Nigeria’s youth to build sustainable, scalable businesses nationwide.
Bank of Industry CEO Dr Olasupo Olusi emphasized prior support for enterprise development.
In 2025, the bank disbursed N43 billion to creative and digital projects across Nigeria.
Head of Founders Lab Cindy Ezerioha described iDICE as a bridge connecting potential to capital.
The programme is set to boost Nigeria’s innovation pipeline and grow the country’s creative and digital sectors.
Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for Founders Lab before the 20 April 2026 deadline.
