Guinness Nigeria Plc marked its 75th anniversary in Lagos with a vibrant dinner celebration that honoured the people and partners who shaped its remarkable journey. The event, themed “A Bold Past, A Bright Future,” brought together industry leaders, government officials, trade partners, regulators, diplomats, and cultural figures.
Managing Director and CEO Girish Sharma expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their long-standing support. He noted that the company continues to create moments of joy through its products. He also stated that Guinness Nigeria remains focused on a stronger and more innovative future.
Board Chairman Prof. Fabian Ajogwu highlighted the brand’s legacy of service and resilience. He praised its long commitment to communities and its culture of care. He also pointed out the symbolic performance by the Federal Nigerian School of the Blind, which reflected the company’s dedication to inclusion.
The Lagos State Government, represented by Secretary to the State Government Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, applauded the brand’s cultural influence. She emphasized its role in job creation, community development, and national identity.
