Ghana national football team have been drawn alongside Ivory Coast national football team in Group C of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The draw, held in Cairo, also placed Gambia and Somalia in the same group, with only the top two teams advancing to the tournament.
Meanwhile, Nigeria national football team were drawn in Group L alongside Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau and co-host Tanzania.
Title holders Morocco national football team will face Gabon, Niger and Lesotho in Group A, while runners-up Senegal national football team landed in Group J with Mozambique, Sudan and Ethiopia.
The Confederation of African Football confirmed that qualifying matches will run from September 2026 to March 2027.
The 2027 AFCON tournament is expected to be hosted in East Africa, with Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania serving as co-host nations.
