The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has alerted motorists to a temporary traffic diversion along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, urging road users to exercise caution and follow designated routes to ensure smooth movement.
According to the agency, the diversion became necessary to facilitate ongoing road construction and maintenance activities aimed at improving the safety and durability of the busy highway. The FRSC explained that the temporary adjustment would help contractors carry out critical work while minimizing risks to motorists and road workers.
Furthermore, the Corps advised drivers to obey traffic signs, comply with instructions from traffic management officials, and avoid excessive speeding within the affected sections of the expressway.
