The Federal Government says it has started disbursing outstanding 2025 allowances to students under the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Programme.
Maruf Alausa said 50% of the approved funds have already been released through Nigerian embassies abroad, while the remaining balance is still being processed.
The move comes after months of complaints from Nigerian scholars studying overseas over delayed payments.
