Energia Limited has strengthened its governance structure with the appointment of Tai Adetokunbo Oshisanya as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective May 2026. The company announced the development on Sunday, highlighting her extensive leadership experience across energy, financial services, pension administration, and development sectors in Africa and Europe.
With more than four decades of professional excellence, Oshisanya brings a strong track record in financial stewardship, corporate strategy, risk management, and business transformation. Notably, she made history as the first Nigerian female Chief Financial Officer of an international oil and gas company in Nigeria during her tenure at TotalEnergies EP Nigeria, where she served as Executive Director, Finance and Control.
Throughout her career, she has overseen complex financial operations across multiple regions, including Nigeria, France, South Africa, and the Netherlands. In addition, she has contributed to joint venture management, performance systems, and enterprise transformation initiatives that improved operational efficiency.
According to Energia Chairman George Osahon, her appointment will enhance strategic oversight and reinforce the company’s commitment to strong corporate governance and sustainable value creation. He noted that her expertise will support long-term growth ambitions and stakeholder confidence.
