An Ekiti State High Court has sentenced three men to a combined 97 years imprisonment for kidnapping and armed robbery.
The convicts were found guilty of multiple offences, including unlawful possession of firearms, under the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State.
Justice Adeniyi Familoni ruled that the prosecution proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.
The court also acquitted three other defendants due to insufficient evidence.
The case involved the kidnapping of victims and ransom demands of up to N70 million.
