Following the devastating tanker explosion and subsequent multi-vehicle collision in Karu, Abuja, on Wednesday evening, President Bola Tinubu initiated a comprehensive investigation.
The Karu Tanker Explosion incident resulted in tragic loss of lives with many significantly injured.
This has prompted President Bola Tinubu to prioritize the immediate medical care of the injured. Directing that all available resources be utilized in Abuja’s medical centers. This statement was made by Mr Bayo Onanuga the President’s spokesman.
Furthermore, President Tinubu has mandated heightened vigilance from road safety and security agencies, particularly concerning traffic management at Abuja’s key entry and exit points. This must be implemented to avoid future risks.
He extends his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and offers prayers for the swift recovery of those affected.
