The Kano State Government has ordered the closure of two private health training institutions after investigations revealed significant regulatory breaches and operational deficiencies.
Officials said the affected colleges lacked proper approval and accreditation, while assessments uncovered shortcomings in staffing, facilities and compliance with required educational standards.
The move forms part of broader efforts by the state government to strengthen healthcare education, protect students from substandard training and ensure that future healthcare professionals receive instruction in properly regulated institutions.
