The Kwara State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed confidence ahead of the 2027 general elections, insisting that legal challenges and political intimidation will not prevent the party from participating in the polls.
Speaking after a State Executive Committee meeting in Ilorin, party leaders said the ADC remains focused on grassroots mobilisation and strengthening its support base across the state. The party also welcomed the intervention of the Court of Appeal in the dispute over the deregistration of some political parties, describing the decision as a victory for democracy.
The ADC urged its members and candidates to intensify voter engagement and pledged to continue promoting issue-based politics and credible leadership ahead of the elections.
