Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged the African Democratic Congress to prioritise competence, credibility, and experience when selecting its presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. According to Atiku, Nigeria’s current political and economic realities demand a leader with proven capacity, strong leadership qualities, and a clear understanding of governance challenges.
