Former Nigerian striker Nwankwo Kanu has celebrated Arsenal F.C. after the club secured the 2025/26 Premier League title.
Arsenal’s triumph was confirmed after Manchester City F.C. played a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth, leaving the Gunners four points clear at the top of the table.
The title marks Arsenal’s first league triumph since the famous 2003/04 “Invincibles” season, when Kanu was part of the squad that went unbeaten throughout the campaign.
Reacting to the achievement, Kanu congratulated the club in a post on X.
“Arsenal forever. The Gunners worked so hard for this. Difficult but they fought. Very well deserved,” he wrote.
Kanu made 197 appearances for Arsenal between 1999 and 2004, scoring 44 goals and winning two Premier League titles and two FA Cups.
The former Super Eagles captain also enjoyed successful spells with AFC Ajax, Inter Milan and Portsmouth F.C. during his career.
