Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has reiterated Bayern Munich’s long-standing transfer policy of retaining key players regardless of the size of offers received.
He referenced a major bid from Chelsea FC for Franck Ribéry in 2009, which prompted the club to adopt a firm stance against selling players deemed essential to on-field performance.
According to him, that philosophy still guides the club today, meaning even a reported €200m offer for winger Michael Olise would not be enough to trigger a sale. The approach reflects Bayern’s priority on sporting stability over financial gain.
