The Federal Government has confirmed that countries including the United Kingdom, France, and the United States have approved Nigeria’s ambassadorial nominees.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at least 10 countries, including Ireland, Qatar, and Senegal, have granted agrément, a required step before ambassadors assume duty.
The move marks progress after a long period without ambassadors under President Bola Tinubu, though approvals from other countries are still pending.
