President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration is actively addressing the country’s persistent electricity challenges.
Speaking at a party event in Abuja, Tinubu revealed plans to inject 1,500 megawatts into the national grid through a newly established Grid Asset Management Company. He acknowledged frequent power outages and infrastructural gaps, pledging improved funding and reforms in the sector.
The assurance comes amid widespread frustration over recurring grid collapses and unreliable electricity supply affecting homes and businesses nationwide.
