Nestlé Nigeria has reported N1.2tn in revenue for the full year 2025, up from N958.8bn in 2024, marking a strong financial recovery.
According to its audited results filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited, the company posted a net profit of N105bn, reversing a N164.6bn loss in 2024. Its equity position also improved from negative N92.3bn to a positive N12.9bn.
Operating profit rose 34.3 per cent to N225.4bn, while profit before tax stood at N166.8bn, compared to a N221.5bn loss the previous year. The company also repaid $40m in foreign currency debt and recorded a 56 per cent growth in export sales to N10.2bn.
Chief Executive Officer, Wassim Elhusseini, attributed the turnaround to improved operational efficiency and naira stability. He noted that negative retained earnings reduced by 53.6 per cent and expressed optimism about eliminating them soon to resume dividend payments. He added that the company would continue cost-efficiency measures, marketing investments, and sustainability initiatives.
