Nigeria has called on the ECOWAS Parliament to strengthen legislation supporting the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Officials stressed the need for harmonised trade laws, budgetary support and removal of non-tariff barriers to deepen regional integration and unlock West Africa’s economic potential.
