There was more drama in Kano as Barau FC edged Kwara United 3-2 in a thrilling encounter. Usman Maidubji scored first for Barau in the 19th minute. Kwara United equalised through Chibuzor Eze Ogbodo before halftime. Muhammad Umar restored Barau’s lead just before the break. Aule Johnmark levelled again early in the second half. Stanley Oganbor sealed Barau’s win with a decisive 90th-minute strike.
In Lagos, Ikorodu City beat Abia Warriors 1-0 through Chidera Oparaoche’s 69th-minute goal and moved top with 27 points. Nasarawa United followed closely after losing 1-0 to Warri Wolves. Elsewhere, 3SC beat El-Kanemi Warriors 1-0, while Bayelsa United drew 1-1 with Katsina United.
