The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has officially opened its application portal for teaching positions across the state. The recruitment drive, approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is designed to attract qualified educators who are passionate about delivering quality education in Lagos State.
According to a statement released on Monday by LASUBEB’s Executive Chairman. The exercise offers a unique opportunity for graduates with the right qualifications to build rewarding careers in teaching. Eligible applicants include holders of NCE, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND + PGDE, BA + PGDE, and B.Sc + PGDE. This initiative underscores the state’s commitment to strengthening education through competent and dedicated professionals.
Applications are strictly online and must be submitted through the official portal: https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng.
The board emphasized that physical submissions will not be entertained. He warned candidates against paying any individual or group, as the application process is completely free.
For a successful application, candidates are required to upload the following documents: O’ Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB), Degree or NCE Certificate, and NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate where applicable. It is important to note that notifications or statements of results issued more than two years ago will not be accepted.
LASUBEB further reassured applicants that it has not authorized anyone to collect money for the exercise. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to rely only on official communication channels to avoid scams.
The application portal will remain open until 14th October 2025, giving prospective teachers ample time to apply. Interested individuals are encouraged to complete their submissions early to avoid last-minute technical challenges.
