The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is currently hosting its 73rd Annual Convention, themed “The Overcomers,” at Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State. The week-long event, which began on August 4, 2025, has attracted thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and abroad, creating a vibrant atmosphere of praise, prayer, and spiritual renewal.
From the opening session, Pastor E. A. Adeboye and other anointed ministers have led powerful worship services, uplifting sermons, and prophetic ministrations aimed at strengthening faith and empowering believers to overcome life’s challenges. The convention also features graduation ceremonies, leadership training, and ordination services, highlighting RCCG’s commitment to spiritual growth and leadership development.
On the first day, the church celebrated the graduation of hundreds of students from the Redeemed Christian Bible College, awarding diplomas and degrees in theology, ministry, and Christian education. This milestone reflects RCCG’s dedication to raising leaders and spreading the gospel both locally and globally.
Furthermore, the convention includes a series of ordination services, where deacons, assistant pastors, and pastors will be officially commissioned. These ceremonies align with RCCG’s mission to equip leaders who will uphold the values of faith, discipline, and service.
Redemption City, RCCG’s international headquarters, provides world-class facilities for the event, including a massive auditorium, modern accommodations, medical services, and spiritual training centers. Attendees also enjoy interactive sessions, testimonies, and prayer programs that inspire hope and transformation.
With the theme “The Overcomers,” the 73rd Annual Convention encourages Christians to remain steadfast in faith, embrace divine victory, and walk in spiritual excellence. As the convention progresses, worshippers continue to experience breakthroughs, renewed purpose, and deeper connection with God.
