Love Ogah, daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel has revealed a stunning account of a failed assassination attempt on her father during her secondary school years.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Ogah detailed how a group of armed assailants allegedly stormed their home, fully intent on taking the life of the prominent Nigerian preacher.
Assassins Storm the Home of Bishop Oyedepo
According to Love Ogah, the would-be assassins declared their deadly mission upon arrival and began a thorough search of the residence in an attempt to locate Bishop Oyedepo.
“They came and said they came to kill my father. They searched everywhere, room to room, but couldn’t find him,” she recounted.
Ogah said the family watched in stunned disbelief as the attackers combed through the home for hours yet failed to find the bishop.
“They Just Couldn’t See Him” Divine Intervention?
In a remarkable twist, Ogah shared that after the intruders left, Bishop Oyedepo emerged and explained that he had seen the attackers the entire time but they had been supernaturally blinded to his presence.
“He said he was physically present and watching them, but they just couldn’t see him,” she said. “All of us were looking like it was a film trick.”
Faith and Miraculous Protection
This extraordinary incident adds to the growing collection of testimonies involving Bishop Oyedepo, whose ministry has often emphasized divine protection, faith, and supernatural intervention.
The story, now making waves online, highlights the bishop’s enduring influence in Nigeria and the broader Christian community, as well as the miraculous events that have surrounded his life and ministry.
