The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has approved Max Air to transport intending pilgrims from Jigawa State to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
The announcement was made by the Director-General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmed Labbo, through a statement issued by the Board’s spokesman, Mr. Habibu Yusuf, on Thursday in Dutse.
Labbo explained that the decision followed a management meeting and the signing of an agreement with airlines at NAHCON’s headquarters in Abuja. He expressed satisfaction with NAHCON’s preparations and assured that all necessary arrangements are in place for a smooth pilgrimage.
He also revealed that travelling bags and uniforms for the intending pilgrims are ready for collection and promised a seamless experience both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
According to Labbo, Max Air’s selection reflects NAHCON’s dedication to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and comfort of all pilgrims. He further praised Gov. Umar Namadi for his support and leadership, which he credited for the board’s operational success.
