The lawmaker representing Iwajowa in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ogunsola Anthony, has urged Governor Seyi Makinde to prioritize road rehabilitation in the Kajola-Iwajowa axis of the state.
Speaking at a PDP stakeholders’ meeting in Iganna, Ogunsola highlighted the poor condition of the Okeho-Ilero-Iganna-Iwere Ile road and called for the completion of the Ijio-Ayegun Wasinmi border road, linking Oyo State to the Benin Republic.
“These roads are vital for trade, agriculture, and access to services. Their poor state hampers economic growth and endangers residents,” he said.
He commended Governor Makinde for six years of infrastructural development in Oyo State and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on campaign promises.
Also speaking at the meeting, Senator Hosea Agboola (Alleluyah) praised PDP members in Iwajowa for their dedication and loyalty.
