Chioma Rowland Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats star Davido, has showered praises on her husband for his constant support and encouragement.
Speaking in an interview with Noire TV ahead of their luxury white wedding in Miami, Chioma, fondly called Chef Chi, revealed that Davido is intentional about her personal growth, often asking about her goals and helping her make plans to achieve them.
“David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced many challenges, but he always asks me, ‘Chi, what do you actually want to do?’ Then we make plans together,” she said.
The couple, who met in university, have weathered challenges including the tragic loss of their first child, Ifeanyi, in 2022. They are now parents to three children, including twins born in 2023.
Their wedding festivities, tagged Chivido 2025, kicked off with a glamorous Havana Night-themed pre-wedding party attended by stars like Zlatan, Adekunle Gold, B-Red, and members of Davido’s family. The white wedding in Miami will serve as the grand finale after their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
