Gloria Nwabuike, Managing Director of AACE Foods and Chairperson of the Business of Food Summit 3.0, has called for stronger collaboration across Nigeria’s food sector to build resilient and sustainable food businesses.
Speaking at the summit themed “Food Business Resilience: Navigating Challenges and Capitalizing on Opportunities,”Nwabuike highlighted pressing issues facing Nigeria’s food ecosystem from economic instability and climate change to rural insecurity and rising production costs.
“Food is essential and irreplaceable. Despite the challenges, we must ensure food businesses not only survive but thrive,” she stated.
Drawing from AACE Foods’ own experience, Nwabuike emphasized how innovation, local value chain development, and strategic partnerships have helped create impact and open new markets. She urged stakeholders to move beyond conversations and take concrete steps toward real solutions.
